Glassell to open “Wally’s Market”, his ‘pride and joy’ until 1961 when he went to work for the US Postal Service as a letter carrier for the next 27 years. Wally came to the City of Orange in 1944 and owned the Firestone Tire Store and the Music Box Store located in the southeast corner of the Plaza in Old Towne.
